Premier Laser Systems Inc.: The Irvine medical laser manufacturer reported a net loss of $865,955, or 19 cents a share, for the third fiscal quarter ended Dec. 31. The company lost $381,087, or 16 cents a share, for the corresponding quarter a year ago, including a gain of $381,730 from extinguishing debt. Sales increased 55% to $711,918 from $459,267. Premier Laser lost $3.6 million, or 80 cents a share, for the nine months, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $2 million, or 97 cents a share. Sales declined 17% to $1 million from $1.2 million.
