Chrysler Likely to Appeal Ruling: Chrysler Corp. said it probably will appeal a Friday court ruling in Massachusetts that awarded $19 million to a man whose wife and three children were killed in an accident involving a 1986 Plymouth Voyager minivan. The Suffolk County Court found the nation’s third-largest auto maker grossly negligent in the design of the Voyager’s brakes. The wife and children of plaintiff Paul Santos died after their van spun out of control on a slick New Hamsphire highway in February 1990 as the auto’s rear brakes locked. Chrysler’s Voyager, Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town and Country are the nation’s best-selling minivans.
