* Lynwood Spinks was named executive vice president of the MCA Motion Picture Group. Spinks was chief operating officer at Carolco, and held other film development and production positions there.

MCA Motion Picture Group, based in Universal City, is part of MCA Inc., a unit of the Seagram Co. Ltd.

* On Assignment Inc., a Calabasas provider of temporary laboratory personnel, has promoted Ronald W. Rudolph to senior vice president of finance and administration. He will also continue in his former post as chief financial officer.

Rudolph joined On Assignment in April.

* John E. “Ted” Gordon, 54, has been named a corporate vice president of Litton Industries Inc. in Woodland Hills.

Gordon, a former director of federal liaison at Litton, will head the defense electronics concern’s office in Arlington, Va. He will be Litton’s chief representative in day-to-day relationships with all branches of the federal government.

* Dean W. Hatton was named senior vice president of direct banking at Great Western Bank in Chatsworth. He will oversee telephone banking services.

Previously, Hatton was an executive at PNC Bank Corp.

* Larri E. Jones has been promoted to director of Southern California business development for Chicago Title Co. He was formerly a vice president and North Coast business manager.

* Sharon L. Sarris has been named director of General Motors’ Los Angeles corporate communications office in Thousand Oaks. She formerly was communications director at the GM Technical Center.

* Richard McGorrian has been promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer at Reddi Brake Supply Corp. in Ventura. He was formerly vice president of marketing.

* Ando Teder was named executive vice president of Dick Clark Restaurants Inc., a subsidiary of Dick Clark Productions Inc., based in Burbank.

Previously, Teder ran a food-service management consulting firm.

* David Hardan, regional vice president in charge of the Ventura County operations of Boyle Engineering Corp., has been named vice chairman of the Newport Beach concern. Boyle designs major water projects statewide.

* William Sturtz has been named vice president of manufacturing of California Amplifier in Camarillo. He was a vice president of Astec, formerly Emerson Electric, in New York.

* James A. Van Duzer, chief executive of Ojai Valley Community Hospital, has been elected to the board of directors of the Hospitals and Health Facilities Council of the Healthcare Assn. of Southern California.

* Garret Maki, vice president of operations at the Glendale video post-production firm Sunset Post, has been promoted to senior vice president and general manager.

Maki has worked in video post-production since 1985. He joined Sunset Post in 1991.

* R. Malcolm Greaves has been named president and chief executive of Haskel International Inc.

The posts have been vacant since the Burbank manufacturer reorganized early last year.

Greaves was promoted from his positions as executive vice president of Haskel International, and managing director of Haskel Energy Systems Ltd., the company’s subsidiary in Sunderland, England.

Haskel makes high-pressure liquid pumps and gas boosters for industrial, commercial, aerospace and military applications.

* David H. Hender, president and chief executive of TransWorld Bancorp in Sherman Oaks for 25 years, said he will retire in May 1997.

In May of this year, Hender, 65, will become vice chairman, but will remain as chief executive of the company and its subsidiary, TransWorld Bank. Craig D. Collette, president and chief executive of Landmark Bancorp in La Habra, will join TransWorld Bank as president and chief operating officer.
