Ray Connors; Public Relations Executive for Six Decades
Ray Connors, 87, public relations executive for six decades. A native of Great Barrington, Mass., Connors graduated from the University of Notre Dame. He began his career as a reporter and editor on New England newspapers, and came to Los Angeles as publicity manager for Lockheed Aircraft in Burbank. Connors later operated the Los Angeles office of the New York-based public relations firm D’Arcy, Masius, Benton & Bowles, and eventually founded his own company. On Feb. 10 in Tucson of cardiac arrest.
