Tustin-Based Ricoh Electronics Names President
* Takahide Kaneko has been appointed president of Ricoh Electronics Inc. in Tustin. He succeeds Katsumi Yoshida, who was named vice chairman of Ricoh Corp. in West Caldwell, N.J. Yoshida will also serve as chairman of Ricoh Electronics. Kaneko was previously manager of the purchasing division at Ricoh Co. Ltd. in Tokyo.
* John J. Sheehan Jr. has joined Nationwide Health Properties Inc., a Newport Beach real estate investment trust, as vice president of development. Sheehan, who will be based in Cleveland, Tenn., has acquisition and new business development responsibilities throughout the country, with emphasis in the Eastern U.S. For the past six years, Sheehan has been vice president of mortgage finance with Life Care Centers of America.
* Chuck Brauer has been named a full partner and executive vice president and chief operating officer at Roberts, Mealer & Co., a Santa Ana advertising and public relations firm. He is responsible for the management of agency operations and overseeing the company’s advertising account management and media activities. Brauer joined the firm in 1993 as vice president of client services. Before that, he headed his own marketing communications consulting firm.
* Leslie A. Kennedy has been appointed vice president of corporate communications for Meguiar’s Inc. in Irvine, manufacturer of surface care products for the automotive, aviation, fiberglass, plastics, marine and furniture industries. Kennedy previously owned a marketing communications firm, which was sold to Basso & Associates in 1995. Prior to that, she was with Meguiar’s for six years.
* Wesley Hanson has been appointed vice president, operations for Don Miguel Mexican Foods in Anaheim. He was formerly vice president, operations at Michael Angelo’s Gourmet Foods.
* William R. Pieser has joined Platinum Software Corp. in Irvine as senior vice president of marketing and business development. He was previously vice president of marketing at Frame Technology Corp. Before that, Pieser was vice president of marketing at Raima Corp., director of sales at HDC Computer Corp., now Express Systems Inc., and director of original equipment manufacturer and federal sales for Hughes LAN Systems, now a division of Wittaker Inc.
* Jacqueline C. Morby has been elected to the board of directors of Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Co. in Newport Beach. She is managing director of TA Associates Inc., a Boston-based manager of private equity investment capital.
* Donald Florey has been appointed vice president of manufacturing for I-Flow Corp., an Irvine manufacturer of ambulatory infusion systems. He had been director of manufacturing since joining the company in 1995.
