Music: Epitaph Records owner Bret Gurewitz says his company is not for sale or in immediate danger of losing its hottest act, Offspring. Despite rumors circulating in the industry, Offspring, whose last album sold a whopping 8 million copies, remains under contract to Epitaph until after it releases its next album, which is not due before September. Industry sources say Offspring is being chased by several major record companies, including Sony Music. In an interview Monday, Gurewitz said he is neither wooing partners nor planning to put his thriving Hollywood label or music publishing company on the auction block.
