Anaheim’s Safeguard Health Posts Record Yearly Revenue
ANAHEIM —
Safeguard Health Enterprises Inc. posted an 85% gain in profit for last year on record revenue.
The managed health-care company said net income for 1995 increased to $2.4 million, or 51 cents a share, from $1.3 million, or 27 cents a share, for 1994. Revenue rose 16% to $81.6 million from $70.5 million.
For the fourth quarter, net income totaled $704,000, or 15 cents a share, compared to $217,000, or 5 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue increased 18% to $21.3 million from $18.1 million.
