STM Wireless Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of wireless communications products reported that 1995 net income rose 6% to $1.7 million, or 28 cents a share, from $1.6 million, or 28 cents a share for 1994. Revenue was up 41% to $37 million from $26.3 million.

For the fourth quarter, the company posted a net loss of $549,000, or 9 cents a share, contrasted with net income of $741,000, or 12 cents a share, for the corresponding period last year. Revenue increased 35% to $10 million from $7.4 million. The company said fourth quarter results were affected by a delay in the signing of new contracts and its inability to complete shipments of equipment for existing contracts due to a shortage of certain components.
