Northridge : 58 CSUN Students Get a Prestigious Booking

They are some of the best and brightest at Cal State Northridge--58 men and women whose academic achievement and community service make them standouts among the college’s 25,000 students.

This year, they’re joining thousands of their peers in “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges,” an annual directory of high achievers offered by Randall Publishing Co. Students are nominated each year by faculty committees who submit their names to the publisher for review.

Carissa Klevens, a 23-year-old psychology major and campus orientation leader, said she’s happy to be included.

“I’m trying to get the most out of my college experience,” she said of her extracurricular activities. “I love working with people.”
