Tax Code Not Doing Children Any Good

Share

This letter is in regard to Kathy Kristof’s “Tuition Reimbursement: Catch-22 for Employers” (Personal Finance, March 3).

I find it fascinating that we go on and on telling our children to get an education and stay in school, yet the federal Tax Code insists on punishing those who try to better themselves by getting an education.

What’s next? Tax credits for those who become dropouts and crack addicts?
