I-Flow Sells Marketing Rights

I-Flow Corp. said Tuesday that it has sold the exclusive U.S. marketing rights and license for its SideKick, Paragon and elite ambulatory infusion products for $1.3 million and guaranteed royalty payments of $1 million per quarter for the rest of 1996. Under the agreement with SoloPak Pharmaceuticals, I-Flow also will receive a royalty equal to 2% of SoloPak’s net sales of the products in 1997 and 1998. Donald M. Earhart, I-Flow’s president, said the full value of the agreement could exceed $8 million in operating earnings over three years.
