* Candidates for local, state and congressional district seats will participate in a forum from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Antelope Valley College, 3041 W. Ave. K, Lancaster. * Candidates for the 19th State Senate District seat and the 38th and 39th Assembly districts seats will discuss their views on crime at a Mad About Rising Crime (MARC) meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Fellowship Hall of Northridge United Methodist Church, 9650 Reseda Blvd. The meeting is free.
