Forbes’ Flat Tax

In “What About Bob?” (Opinion, March 17), William Schneider adds to the din of analysts attributing Steve Forbes’ rapidly declining numbers to his overuse of “negative ads.” Could it be that the electorate was simply smart enough to evaluate Stevie’s flat tax for what it was--a clever ploy to further enrich him and the other offspring of the ultrarich and leave the rest of us to pick up the tab?
