Woodland Hills : Carnival, Auctions to Benefit School
The Strawberry Alarm Clock, a psychedelic rock band from the ‘60s, will perform tonight at Calvert Street Elementary School’s annual spring carnival.
The fund-raising carnival begins today and continues through Sunday.
The Strawberry Alarm Clock, best known for its hit “Incense and Peppermints,” will take the stage at 8 p.m.
Other activities include 13 carnival rides, food booths and auctions, scheduled at 6:30 tonight and 7 p.m. Saturday, in which people can bid on gift baskets, dinners at area restaurants, vacations, sports memorabilia, and Disneyland or Dodger tickets, among other things.
The carnival will run from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m. and 5 to 10 p.m. today, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
The school is located at 19850 Delano St. in Woodland Hills.
