Newspaper Facilities Sold to AML Communications

The former facilities of the Camarillo Daily News, which was taken over by the Ventura County Star, have been sold to AML Communications for $1.3 million.
John P. Scripps Newspapers was represented by Daum Commercial Real Estate Services in the sale of the 25,000-square-foot concrete tilt-up building located on two acres of land at 1000 Ave. Acaso in Camarillo.
AML, a manufacturer of cellular amplifiers and switching hardware, was represented by CB Commercial Real Estate Group. AML is expanding from its current 10,000-square-foot facility on Calle Plano in Camarillo. It is expected to move into its new headquarters May 1.
The Ventura County Star recently moved to a new office at 2245 Ventura Blvd. for its Camarillo operations.
