Obituaries : Paul D. Inman; Longtime County Resident
Paul David Inman Sr., 63, died Monday at Ojai Valley Community Hospital after a brief illness.
Inman, an 18-year Ventura County resident, was a truck driver who lived with his wife, Therese, in Ojai for the past 13 years.
Inman was born in Oren, Mo., and settled in California after he served in the Army in the early 1950s, said his wife.
He met the former Therese Kelly of Cleveland 18 years ago through a neighbor. It was his second marriage.
In his time off from work, Inman enjoyed woodworking and travel, said his wife. He loved to “make the rounds” and visit family and friends around the country in his RV, she said. “He was always out visiting neighbors in our mobile park,” she said. “He was a loving person. Always ready to give. I think he’ll be missed by a lot of people.”
Besides his wife, Inman is survived by five children, 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral arrangements are being made by Clausen Funeral Home, Ojai.
