Northridge : Child Psychologists to Field Queries Online
Focusing attention on the problem of child abuse, two Northridge psychologists will go online Wednesday night to answer questions before a national audience of computer users.
Jeff Adler and Jessica Card, psychologists with the nonprofit San Fernando Valley Child Guidance Clinic, will appear on the Prodigy service from 5:30 to 7 p.m. as part of the “Medical Support” program.
“It sounds interesting,” Adler said of the cyberspace chat. “I’m real curious to see how it works.”
During the session, a moderator will take questions from computer users to be forwarded to the doctors. Adler and Card will post answers for all participants and will be available for live discussion.
The Prodigy network is available in the United States and Canada.
For more information, call the clinic at (818) 993-9311.
