Rockwell International Plans to Acquire Intecolor Corp.
Rockwell International Corp. said Monday that it plans to buy Intecolor Corp., a privately held maker of industrial workstations and high-performance computer monitors. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Rockwell said it plans to merge Intecolor into its Milwaukee-based automation business division. Intecolor’s annual sales of $30 million represents less than 1% of Rockwell Automation’s $3.6 billion in 1995 sales. Intecolor will continue to operate from its existing facility in Duluth, Ga.
