. . . Deputy Clerk Marshall Norris was reassigned by a judicial committee because of the “appearance of impropriety” in his campaign to unseat his boss, County Clerk Gary Granville.
Norris had been endorsed by California Angel owner Gene Autry, who had filed a lawsuit being heard in the courtroom where Norris worked.
