AGAINST HOLLYWOOD PARK EXPANSION

Share

An Inglewood community organization has filed a lawsuit against Hollywood Park Casino and Racetrack opposing the establishment’s plan to build a stadium and has planned a public forum Saturday to address the proposed expansion.

In the lawsuit, recently filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, the Coalition for Responsible Development in Inglewood has attacked the environmental impact report approved by the Los Angeles Planning Commission.

The coalition, a group of residents, labor activists and businesses, argue that the report underestimates the traffic and pollution problems that a large stadium would impose on the city.
