Twelve-year-old Jay Ziegler’s fall from a tree lands him in a coma-induced fantasy world that is inhabited only by children in The Odyssey (Sci-Fi Channel, Sunday at 5:30 p.m.). Strange new adventures confront him as he tries to make his way back home. For ages 6 and up.

Daddy’s Girl, an “ABC Afterschool Special” (Thursday at 3 p.m.) is about a 16-year-old African American girl determined to reunite with her estranged father. Their reunion has surprising repercussions for the entire family. For the family.

CityKids All Star Celebration (ABC, Saturday at 5 p.m.) offers a lineup of performers that includes Paula Abdul, Brandy, Drew Barrymore, Cindy Crawford, Ricki Lake, Rosie Perez and Jimmy Smits. Demi Moore is host. The CityKids Foundation, a nonprofit, multicultural organization, provides a forum for young people to discuss issues of importance to them. For 15 and up.

Fox launches Power Rangers ZEO this week (Saturday at 8 a.m.. These rangers replace the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. There are five heroes instead of six fighting against the forces of darkness. But not to worry. The sixth man, formerly the blue ranger, is working in the command center supplying his colleagues with the power and energy they need to battle their foes. For ages 2 and up.
