‘Liberal Man’

Re “Entering From Stage Left--Liberal Man!” April 9: Comparing liberalism to fascism is “Animal Farm” thinking! If I were a Republican who believes that women are entitled to equal rights, that whales are magnificent creatures that should be protected from predators, that victims of AIDS should be viewed with compassion and that our planet will benefit from recycling, then I must be a “liberal,” and what sane human being wouldn’t want to be that?

Paul Vincent and Marcus P. Meleton’s comic book is not just lampooning the “liberal left,” it is making fun of all thoughtful and caring people--left or right. Couldn’t they at least have helped our economy by hiring an American printer?
