Comprehensive Care Corp.: The Costa Mesa managed care company reported a net loss of $1.2 million, or 44 cents a share, for the fiscal third quarter, compared with a net loss of $3.2 million, or $1.42 a share for the same period last year. The results in the most recent quarter included a nonoperating gain of $860,000 for a settlement of litigation. Revenue for the quarter ended Feb. 29 rose 17% to $7.6 million from $6.5 million.

For the nine-month period, the company posted a net loss of $1.8 million, or 67 cents a share, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $8.2 million, or $3.69 a share. Revenue increased 10% to $24 million from $21.9 million.
