Presidents’ Tapes

Re “More Nixon Tapes: The Facts, However Ugly They Might Be,” editorial, April 16: As a lifelong Republican, I completely agree with everything you said about the public’s right and need to know.

Why did you end it so quickly? Don’t we have the same, identical, equal and fair right for the same tapes that exist, sealed, that were made by Presidents Kennedy and Johnson? I honestly think it would be helpful to hear the words of all three presidents who taped a great deal to compare their style, language, etc.
