Ceviche’s bright, splashy taste of lemon juice-marinated seafood is the highlight of Peruvian cuisine. And nowhere is the dish fresher or more stylishly presented than at the new Don Felix on Fountain, where it comes showered with a gossamer thatch of red onion and a sweet potato garnish that balances its bracing tartness. If you like, jack up the heat with aji, the traditional green hot pepper sauce that’s the Peruvian equivalent of catsup. Order shellfish ceviche with squid and octopus or the mix of shellfish and fish.
