A program for high school students planning to attend a university directly from high school is now available at Ventura College. The program, Summer College for High School Students, will be available from June 17 to Aug. 19.

It offers ninth- through 12th-graders transferable university courses and afternoon workshops. A variety of college-level courses to earn credit toward general education, a major or electives are available free.

Students planning to attend four-year universities might consider a course on how to survive and succeed at the university level.
