LAGUNA NIGUEL — OptimumCare Corp. said it has signed a three-year agreement to manage a partial-hospitalization program, Friendship Community Mental Health Center, which serves the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. The program is designed for patients who do not need to be in a hospital but require more than outpatient visits with a mental health professional.
Edward Johnson, president and chief executive, said the agreement is part of OptimumCare’s strategy to expand its business operations beyond California into other parts of the country. The company provides management services through a network of hospitals, medical centers and outpatient facilities.
