. . . Disneyland, celebrating its 30th anniversary, announced plans to give away burros to qualified amusement park visitors.
Burros captured in Death Valley would temporarily become part of the new Thunder Ranch attraction. The animals, captured to prevent overpopulation, would be replaced as they were adopted.
