Minnesota Firm Agrees to Acquire Datatech

Eltrax Systems Inc. of St. Paul, Minn., signed an agreement to acquire Nordata Inc. and Rudata Inc., which do business as Datatech in San Juan Capistrano. Eltrax said it would pay $990,000 in cash and 2,068,000 common shares in the transaction, which is expected to close by May 30. The companies had reached a preliminary agreement for the acquisition in March.

Eltrax develops and markets patient card and digital image storage systems for the health-care industry. Datatech is a data communications systems integrator.
