Service Agency Plans Community Street Fair
Meeting Each Need with Dignity (MEND), a nonprofit community service agency in Pacoima, will have its first street fair and “Serv-a-Thon” on June 2.
The fair will feature food and crafts, entertainment, children’s games and activities, displays by local businesses and information booths staffed by representatives of other service agencies.
Volunteers from MEND will also be available to discuss the myriad health, food, housing and employment services the agency offers.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 2 on Van Nuys Boulevard between Kewen and Telfair avenues.
