. . . Two prehistoric whale skeletons found at a Laguna Niguel construction site would be kept in Orange County, the Board of Supervisors decided, instead of going to the Los Angeles Museum of Natural History.
The 30-foot-long adult skeleton and 10-foot juvenile skeleton, up to 9 million years old, were displayed in a small Newport Beach museum after restoration.
