FLORIDA : Parents Tried to Sell Newborns, Police Say

The parents of twin 4-day-old boys were charged with trying to sell the newborns for $25,000 to undercover police, authorities said. The day after the boys were born, police said their parents put word out that they were for sale. Sheriff’s deputies in Hillsborough, Fla., acting on a tip, arranged for the couple to take a $2,000 deposit, authorities said. Jeffrey Eugene May, 30, and Christine Marie Love, 24, were charged with two felony counts of sale of a minor child.
