Obituaries : * Grace Young; Organist and Music Teacher
Grace E. Young, a Ventura County resident since 1961, died Tuesday in Ojai. She was 95.
Young was born in Chicago in 1901. She moved to Granada Hills for some time but returned to Ventura County. An avid fan of music, Young was an organist and music teacher for many years. She was also a member of the the Ojai United Methodist Church.
Young is survived by two nephews, Ellis and Duane Howlett of Canada.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Ojai United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert E. Underwood officiating.
Friends may call Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Clausen Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at Ivy Lawn Cemetery at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Contributions may be made to the Ojai Methodist Church.
