Democrats Plan Election Strategy Session

Democratic officials are asking party members from across the county to join those from Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, Dana Point and San Clemente at Hennessey’s Bar in Dana Point Thursday night for a strategy session to plan for November’s elections.
The meeting is not a fund-raiser, organizers said, just a means for Democrats who want to be more actively involved in the election process to meet each other.
The 73rd Assembly District Democratic Committee is sponsoring the event.
The meeting at Hennessey’s on La Plaza, next to Pacific Coast Highway and Street of the Golden Lantern, will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Other sessions will be scheduled later in the election season, organizers said.
