Eric Clapton teamed with Babyface on the song “Change the World,” which radio will start playing this week as the first single from the soundtrack to “Phenomenon,” starring John Travolta. Robbie Robertson is executive producer of the collection, which also includes a new Bryan Ferry song (with lyrics by Bernie Taupin) and a Don Was-produced session of Jewel doing John Hiatt’s “Have a Little Faith in Me.” The album is due July 2. . . .

George Harrison, Elton John and Natalie Merchant have been added to the lineup of “For Our Children, Too,” a collection of children-related songs benefiting the Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Others already set for the album, a sequel to a 1991 release, include Cher, Celine Dion, Toni Braxton, Seal, Vanessa Williams and a duet of Whoopi Goldberg and Harry Belafonte. . . .

“Broken Arrow,” a new Neil Young & Crazy Horse album due July 2, will include a version of bluesman Jimmy Reed’s “Baby What You Want Me to Do” recorded live recently at a small club.
