76 Products Co. to Add 14 Las Vegas Stations

Unocal Corp. said Tuesday that its 76 Products Co. has signed an agreement that will make it the second-largest gasoline retailer in the Las Vegas area, with the addition of 14 Unocal gas stations.

The agreement with Las Vegas-based Rebel Oil Co. calls for nine Rebel Oil retail sites in the Las Vegas metropolitan area to begin operating under the Unocal name. Additionally, five new Unocal sites will be constructed on vacant Rebel Oil property.

Details of the agreement were not disclosed.

Costa Mesa-based 76 Products Co. is the marketing, refining, product supply and transportation unit of Unocal Corp. It operates 1,200 Unocal-brand gas stations and retail convenience centers in the western United States and Hawaii.
