Data Processing Resources Has Record Results

Data Processing Resources Corp., which provides information technology staffing services, reported record earnings and revenue for the third fiscal quarter, which ended April 30.

Net income rose 63%, to $909,000, or 14 cents a share, from $557,000, or 11 cents a share, for the same quarter last year. Revenue was up 16%, to $14.8 million from $12.8 million. Net income for the nine-month period rose 47%, to $2.2 million, or 40 cents a share, from $1.5 million, or 30 cents a share, for the comparable three quarters a year ago. Revenue gained 19%, to $42 million from $35.3 million.
