Airline to Handcuff Drunken Passengers: Britain’s Leisure International Airways said it will begin carrying the handcuffs on its vacation flights to Mediterranean, Caribbean and Florida resorts. A company spokeswoman said cabin crews had expressed worries to management about “increasing levels of violence and verbal abuse from passengers.” The announcement follows allegations that English soccer players, returning from matches in China and Hong Kong, caused $7,500 worth of damage to two television screens and a table on a Cathay Pacific airliner.
