ARV Assisted Living Inc.: The Costa Mesa operator of assisted-living facilities said that its net loss for the fiscal year ended March 31 narrowed to $965,000, or 21 cents a share, from a net loss of $3 million, or 69 cents a share, for the previous year. ARV, which acquired 20 facilities during the year, said that revenue rose to $33.1 million from $9.7 million. The company reported fourth-quarter net income of $302,000, or 3 cents a share, contrasted with a net loss of $1.5 million, or 32 cents a share, for the like period a year ago. Revenue grew to $12.7 million from $3.2 million.
