16 Killed, at Least 12 Hurt in Pakistani Bus Crash

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — A broken axle sent a packed commuter bus skidding off a busy highway in northern Pakistan, killing 16 passengers and injuring more than a dozen others, state-run media reported Saturday.
The accident happened late Friday night shortly after the bus left the town of Lakki, about 150 miles southwest of Islamabad, the capital.
