Hull Moves to Fluor as Vice President and Treasurer

Stephen F. Hull has joined Fluor Corp., an Irvine global engineering, construction and diversified services company, as vice president and treasurer. He will have responsibility for the company’s risk management, real estate, trust investments and treasury operations divisions. Hull was previously with Hughes Aircraft Co. for 13 years, most recently as vice president and treasurer for Hughes Communications. Before that, he managed corporate banking activities at two commercial banks for 16 years.

* Meg Castineiras has been named Orange County business manager for California Dental Health Plan in Tustin, the managed dental and vision care subsidiary of PacifiCare Health Systems Inc. She was formerly with Foundation Health and has also worked for Cigna Health Plan in Los Angeles.

* Randolph H. Pierce has been named district manager for Brea-based Earle M. Jorgensen’s Southeast Asia region and will be based in the new Singapore office. An 18-year veteran of the metals distributor, Pierce was formerly general manager of European and Detroit operations.

* Mitchell K. Middagh has joined Brown and Caldwell, an Irvine environmental engineering and consulting firm, as senior project manager for property divestiture and decommissioning projects. Before joining Brown and Caldwell, Middagh was a program manager of ENSR Consulting and Engineering.

* Ben Willard has been appointed superintendent for Oak Creek Golf Club in Irvine, which features an 18-hole golf course being developed by the Irvine Co. He was previously superintendent for the Links Course at Pelican Hill Golf Club at Newport Coast.

* Linda Lyons has been named senior vice president of health services for PacifiCare Health Systems Inc. in Cypress. She was previously senior vice president for managed care operations at Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation in San Diego. In her new position, Lyons will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to manage and improve the quality and cost effectiveness of health care services.

* Roger Sherwood has been appointed president of Watson Systems Inc., a new subsidiary of Watson General Corp. in Irvine. Sherwood joined the company last year after a 30-year business career in management at Amoco. The subsidiary integrates the company’s original EnvirAlert Inc. operations with EnviroQuest Technologies Ltd., which was acquired in January.

* Michael Berry has joined Disneyland as vice president of food operations and concept development. He has responsibility for food operations in the park, creative development, quality assurance and food purchasing functions. Before joining Disneyland, Berry was director of dining services at Harvard University. He has also held positions at UCI, UCLA and the Marriott Corp. at Georgetown University.
