* Re “Baptists Seek to Convert Jews,” June 15:
When will Christians learn to accept Jews as they are and not need to feel compelled to convert “others” in order to validate their concepts of God. After all, we do share the same God, Bible and religious history. The only real difference between Jews and Christians is circumcision, and that we Jews feel if we want to talk to God we don’t have to go through his agent. We can talk direct if he’ll listen, and he will listen if we’re good and live the right life, which means among other things not to (try to) impose one’s will upon others.

* Regarding the resolution of the Southern Baptist Convention to convert Jews, what I find so reprehensible is that they (the Southern Baptists) deny the spiritual and intellectual integrity of the Jews they are targeting. Appalling, indeed!
