* Silicon Energy Corp. of Chatsworth won a $939,000 contract from the Naval Facilities Engineering Command in San Diego for work on an integrated hybrid photovoltaic power system at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms.

* Total Environmental Industries of Fontana has been awarded a $24,480 contract by Ventura County’s Public Works Agency to shore up the foundation of the kitchen building at the Ventura County Medical Center in Ventura. The project calls for shoring up the floor from the underneath crawl space and utility tunnels. The work began May 31 and is expected to last about a month.
