U.S.-Saudi Game Still On

A U.S.-Saudi Arabia exhibition soccer game is still on for Sunday in Oneonta, N.Y., despite a recent terrorist attack that killed 19 Americans at a U.S. military base in Saudi Arabia. Officials said security will be stepped up for the game, scheduled long before Tuesday’s bombing in Dharan, Saudi Arabia. . . . Their patience already tested by traffic jams related to Olympic construction, Atlanta residents now are being warned that security drills next week will fill the skies with noisy helicopters, beginning Monday around Olympic venues in the metro area between noon and 11 p.m. They are expected to end Wednesday and be replaced by smaller-scale drills. . . . Laker center Vlade Divac will lead the Yugoslavian Olympic team in a four-game tuneup for the Games, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Pauley Pavilion against a team of American All Stars, including current and former NBA players.
