Team USA starter Seth Greisinger pitched seven strong innings before Cuba pounded three U.S. relievers for six runs in the eighth inning to erase a 2-1 deficit and record a 7-2 victory at Knoxville, Tenn. It was Cuba’s third victory in four games against the U.S., and the teams conclude their five-game set Thursday in Norfolk, Va.

Greisinger, who struck out six and walked none, faced only one above the minimum through five innings, with the help of three double plays started by shortstop Augie Ojeda. Team USA Manager Skip Bertman said before the game the No. 1 starter’s position was up for grabs between Greisinger and Kris Benson.
