Canon Computer Systems Names Vice President
* Elaine Rittenhouse has been named vice president of human resources for Canon Computer Systems Inc. in Costa Mesa. Rittenhouse, who has been with the company since its formation in 1992, was most recently director of human resources. Before that, she held human resources positions at Knott’s Berry Farm, Burger King Corp. and Toshiba America Information Systems.
* Rolf-Dieter Fiebrich has been appointed director of software development for Simulation Sciences Inc. in Brea. Fiebrich joined the company from Thinking Machines Corp., where he was director of advanced systems development.
* Michael E. Zall has joined Asics Tiger Corp., a Fountain Valley maker of athletic shoes, sports apparel and accessories, as general counsel. Since 1991, Zall has been general counsel and intellectual property counsel for Asics through his firm, Weingram & Zall.
* Susan L. Salay has joined Educorp Multimedia in Costa Mesa, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hariston Corp., as vice president of marketing. She will oversee the development and implementation of Educorp’s marketing programs. Salay has been a consultant for the company since March. Before that, she was vice president of strategic marketing for Ingram Micro Inc. in Santa Ana.
* Elizabeth Thomas has joined the Irvine office of the public relations firm of Creamer Dickson Basford as director of client and media services, West Coast. She was previously executive director of the Irvine Education Foundation, developing private support for public schools. Prior to that, Thomas was with the Los Angeles office of Golin/Harris Communications and the Walt Disney Co. in Burbank.
