Second baseman Yobal Duenas went three for four with four RBIs as Cuba overpowered Nicaragua, 12-0, in a pre-Olympic exhibition game at Huntsville, Ala.

Jose Estrada had two doubles in Cuba’s six-run first inning. He led off the game with a double and that was followed by a walk and three consecutive run-scoring singles to make it 4-0.

Then Rey Isaac--who topped the Cuban attack in a 23-8 rout of the Nicaraguans on Friday--singled before Lazaro Vargas reached on a fielder’s choice.

Then with two outs, Duenas hit an RBI single to center and Estrada doubled again to score Vargas. Duenas was thrown out trying to score.

The score remained 6-0 until the fourth, when Scull singled in a run. The Cubans added three more in the fifth when Vargas and Lopez singled and Duenas hit a home run deep to left field to make it 10-0.
