Outdoor programs exploring topics ranging from Native American culture to protecting endangered wildlife are being featured on Wednesday nights this summer at Oak Canyon Nature Center in Anaheim Hills.

For Nature Nights, a free program sponsored by Anaheim, “some of the guest speakers bring in animals that they’ll talk about,” naturalist Mike McEnte said.

One of those will be a Chumash culture workshop today, when children will have an opportunity to make Native American crafts.
