In the 1993 Disney movie, Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (Disney Channel, Sunday at 7 p.m.) a cat and two dogs make a challenging trek over mountainous terrain to be reunited with their youthful masters. The three share their thoughts with the audience while facing ferocious beasts and the harshness of nature. Sally Field, Michael J. Fox and Don Ameche supply the voices. For the family.

A highlight of ABC’s America’s Funniest Home Videos (Sunday at 7:30 p.m.) is two toddlers shaking, rattling and rolling atop a washing machine during the spin-cycle. In other segments, a 10-year-old gets his head stuck in the door to his pet’s house while trying to “kiss the kitten,” and two young girls get an unusual Christmas gift: Their dad wrapped in holiday paper. Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood dishes out lessons on “helping” this week (weekdays, 8:30 a.m. on KCET). On Wednesday, Mr. Rogers visits a popular restaurant in New York City. For ages 3 to 6.
