A year ago, the company earned $837,000, or 14 cents a share, including $97,000 from discontinued operations. Revenue declined 2% to $9.8 million from $10 million. Net income for the first half totaled $873,000, or 15 cents a share, down 36% from the $1.4 million, or 23 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue improved 9% to $17.3 million from $15.9 million.
